Keeping our guests safe during Covid-19 pandemic is our priority and to minimize the spread of coronavirus (Covid-19) we take measures to ensure the safety or our guests and staff. We also carefully follow the recommendations, guidelines and regulations of Finnish health authorities and update our policies and procedures accordingly.

Cleaning and hygiene

• The cleaning of public areas and hotel rooms are enhanced. All surfaces that are frequently touched (e.g. table tops, door handles, elevator buttons) are cleaned frequently and thoroughly
• Hand sanitizer is available in key areas, e.g. in hotel receptions, entrances, hotel lobby and restaurant Freja
• Our staff washes hands and use hand sanitizer more frequently

Hotel Matts’ reception

• Protective plexiglass screens are placed in reception
• Keycards are always disinfected after use
• We recommend contactless payment with card if possible

Restaurant Freja

• Protective plexiglass screens at cashier desk
• Tables further apart to next one
• Our guests are given a possibility to use disposable gloves if meals are served from a buffet table
• We carefully follow the recommendations, guidelines and regulations of Finnish health authorities
• We recommend contactless payment with card

Conference rooms and meetings

• Tables are positioned further apart

Safety and wellbeing or our guests and staff is highly important to us, please don’t arrive to our hotel or restaurant if you have symptoms. Our staff is not allowed to arrive to work if they have symptoms.
