Espoo is a diverse city destination for athletes. Hotel Matts is located in a central location close to sports centers with excellent transport links, including the Western Metro. Those arriving with their own car can park cheaply in our hotel car park.
At Hotel Matts you will find comfortable rooms and apartments with diverse hotel facilities. We customise accommodation and service packages as you wish. If you need an evening snack or a buffet that is different from our normal weekday lunch, we will make snack or buffet according to your needs.

Everything an athlete needs
Well-equipped apartments
Our comfortable apartments are well suited to the needs of athletes. The apartments have a kitchen with cooking utensils, where the athlete can store and cook the necessary lunch. The apartments also have a washing machine and tumble dryer for washing and drying sports clothes after a workout.
Rooms
With us you will enjoy a relaxing leisure time and sleep a good night’s sleep. We also have combi rooms where two rooms can be connected by opening a lockable connecting door between the rooms. Leisure time can be spent on the volume of the two hotel rooms and closed when is the bedtime, so the space is divided into two separate hotel rooms, each with its own bathroom, toilet and a door to the corridor.
Healthy food from our restaurant
Restaurant Freja offers healthy and varied food for an athlete’s day. From our tasty breakfast buffet you will find everything you need for a good day. On weekdays, we have healthy changing lunch menu, and in the evening, our à la carte dishes will make perfect end for your active day.
Cooperation with sports clubs
Hotel Matts x Espoon Jäätaiturit
We were the official accommodation partner of the 2nd selection competition of the national series of synchronized skating. The competitions were held at the Espoo Metro Arena on January 29-30, 2022.
Hotel Matts x Suomen Tennisliito
Hotel Matts was the official accommodation partner for the Finnish tennis national team in the 2021 & 2022 Davis Cup.

We are close to golf courses
There are several high-quality golf courses in Espoo, but the courses in Helsinki and Kirkkonummi are also easily accessible. At the end of a good day of golf, you can enjoy our sauna and Freja’s tasty à la carte, maybe take a walk or take a city bike to Nokkalanniemi sea views.
